He actually once had his own independent restaurant, but he sold it and has now found his restaurant calling by being a franchisee owner of the MOOYAH burger eatery at 7301 Kingston Pike near West Hills.

Officials said that several weapons had been found in Knox County elementary, middle and high schools during the current school year. As of March 26, officials said two guns were found, neither was inside the school building. At Central High School, a gun was found nearby the building. At New Hopewell Elementary School, a gun was in a parent s car in the pickup line.

Food City: New store at Schaad Road and Oak Ridge Hwy in Knoxville

It’s finally open! The long-awaited Food City on 6710 Malone Creek Drive (corner of Schaad Road and Oak Ridge Highway) opened with a well-attended ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday, March 31. The old Food City at 1950 Western Ave. is now closed, with personnel moving to the new store, which will employ 200 associates. The 54,635-square-foot store features new amenities including a Starbucks, fresh sushi, Asian Wok, fresh bar (salad bar, olives, wings, nachos), soup bar, floral department, full service meat and seafood counters, a Claire’s boutique, wine and beer, and of course all the staples, extensive frozen food section, pharmacy, and Go-Cart personal shoppers delivering to the curb.
