KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. Officials said that several weapons had been found in Knox County elementary, middle and high schools during the current school year.
As of March 26, officials said two guns were found, neither was inside the school building. At Central High School, a gun was found nearby the building. At New Hopewell Elementary School, a gun was in a parent s car in the pickup line.
