Sabrina new at midday today, an unexpected fire this morning, left one man dead. Sabrina it happened shortly after midnight on the 25 hundred block of 59th street in des moines. Authorities were called to the residence twice last night following noise disturbance complaints officials evetually tried to make contact with a man inside the residence, when they saw a fire erupt within the home. The man refused to leave, and fire crews were forced out by the fire and smoke. The male resident died investigations show the fire was intentionally started. Been riding in when the vehicle hit her near the intersection of hull and delaware avenues. Police say they dont know why she got out of the car. Hols later died from her injuries. Police say 41 year old sam archer was driving the car and is believed to have been hols boyfriend. Officers arrested him on assault causing Bodily Injury charges unrelated to the incident.
