Showers this morning. Lets get an update on whats on with that with david and karen. Good morning. Most of those seem to be falling apart. Lets give you a look on Storm Tracker 6 life double scan. Light snow showers really breaking up and showing up in dark shades of gray south of philadelphia and an around salem county. More have opened up in southern burlington and atlantic county. 28 degrees in philadelphia. Still 17 in allentown. 27 in wilmington. So you scan these numbers and obviously its a cold start. We do not have much wind however. Ill point out that what wind we have is coming up from the south and thats always a good direction for us in the wintertime as when you get winds from the south it means warmer air is on the way in. And that is what we are dealing with a little bit later today. Now its still going to be cold on the way to the school bus this morning. Temperatures in the low to mid 20s across most of the region and the teens up north. Not much wind but you want to b

Have karen rogers who is still allowed to to be inside. While its cold dress appropriately its not too bad. Satellite shows you there is some cloud cover offer to the west of us. Its started to get closer. I think theres a chance we squeeze in a little bit of early sunshine before the clouds starter to get thicker and then through the day well see increasing clouds. Temperature right now has dipped to 30 degrees in philadelphia, 27 in wilmington. 29 in allentown and 28 in wildwood. But the winds as i mentioned not all that strong this morning. And as we heads out to catch the bus over the next couple of hours, 30 by 7 oclock and 31 by 8 oclock. Mainly clear and chilly but not as windy as its been recently. And remember to read all those pages. See how those numbers are getting bigger on the blackboard now. Thats because were getting later through the school year. 31 degrees by 8 oclock, forty degrees by noon and by 3 oclock, on the way home from school 44 degrees, not too bad and incre

Of gray and some breaks in the snow. So, this is wrapping up fairly quickly in the northern and western suburbs. Allentown and reading down to the last snowflakes. In philadelphia were still under a pretty good bright band of white snow and that is the heavy stuff and that extends down through much of south jersey. A good portion of delaware starting to dry out and Cumberland County and salem county is getting toward the end as well. Cape may also getting just the lighter snow. Still coming down heavily from philadelphia over to Atlantic City. Until 10 oclock we have a winter storm warning in effect through philadelphia Delaware County and parts of bucks montgomery and chester county. Farther to the northern and west its an advisory. This may fall off the map a little early depending on how the snow tapers off. For now i would expect until 9 or 10 oclock to see snow falling in some areas. It will be beyond that by the time the plow trucks can get out there and clean everything up. Expe

Tracker six live double scan some light rain has managed to work its way into much of Chester County, berks county seeing some of this, the lehigh valley, northern Montgomery County and New Castle County, delaware and we are starting to see some of this jump the delaware bay and the southern portion of the Delaware River into salem county and cumberland county, new jersey. And its possible that in a half hour or hour when im out here on the terrace ill be wearing that rain jacket that ive got just inside the door on the coat stand. As we take a look the rain in the northern and western suburbs isnt going to last all that long. In philadelphia well probably be dealing with it up until about lunchtime and then after that well be on the bubble. The rain is going to hang for awhile though in south jersey and delaware and could even be steady at times later this afternoon. 62 degrees in philadelphia currently, 62 in wilmington, 57 in allentown a little cooler right down by the shore but in

Air, its a big improvement in the Temperature Department as well. As we look at yesterdays high, 93 degrees, with the oppressive humidity, and the front came through with storms and 84 degrees. 2 degrees above normal. Its warm and we drop the humidity and in fact, look at the numbers. 83 in allentown in lancaster 83. And a sea breeze keeping temperatures in the upper 70s along the shore. As we look at the dew points, upper 60s to low 70s, we have dropped back into the 50s area wide with the exception of the shore. That drier air is quieting a nice evening, temperature is 80 degrees at 7 00, with full sunshine, 75 at 9 00 and a couple of clouds and stars at 73 degrees. This very comfortable air is not going to last very long, well talk about the return of the oppressive humidity and the 90s coming up in the full accuweather forecast. Thank you adam.
