A crash blocking the slow lane here as you get toward cutting boulevard. Thats the only real spot for slowing making it 25 minutes as you travel highway 4 to the back up at the bay bridge. Back in the mid 50s and mid 60s, rather, by this afternoon. So i will talk more about that and what to expect this weekend coming up. Jean nay, youve been tracking a couple issues out there early happening on the roads. We have a couple issues but basically they look to be very minor. If we take an overall look at the bay area you can see everything is green for go, not seeing too much activity out there but in the south bay this crash did pop up earlier, it was along southbound 280 at seventh street, as of right now it looks like its not causing major delays. A minor fenderbender. The cars are off to the side. You could see a couple hazards as you drive by this area so dont expect to see any delays out of there. This one also just popped up, too, chp is reporting a crash along eastbound 580 at high street. It appears that right hand shoulder is blocked. Im not seeing major slowing just yet, but if that doesnt get cleared out within the next 20 minutes we know how quickly that can buil
Where ive been watching some fog drift around. As we get a look at that school day forecast, its 50 degrees, definitely need a jacket, but not later on today, we will be at 71 degrees at 1 00 today. Its going to be a really warm. We will talk about more of those temperatures coming up, but, mike, you were saying there is a problem if youre heading to facebook this morning. I hope you will not blame the messenger. Warning you, most of the bay looks great, but the dumbarton bridge that is a very slow drive. As we look at this slow drive heading up to the highrise where there are vehicles blocking your two right lanes, only one gets by, we are looking at what could be a half an hour, maybe more. We just upped the time, it was about a half hour delay but now that travel time registers that its 45 minutes heading across from the east bay. That is a big problem. 92 the san mateo bridge moves much more smoothly and thats a better drive. No problems getting to the bay bridge. The earlier crash
Look at San Francisco right now, nice and clear, no fog in sight, we are not worried about the fog, not worried about cloud cover. The temperatures all across, in san jose 49 right now, San Francisco 53, santa rosa 45. In terms of coastal fog not really a big issue. We are a little warmer in santa rosa, napa 5 degrees cooler and the temperatures trend does show a quick climb into those 60s by midmorning and, yes, those 70s. I will talk more about that in just a bit, but first mike is tracking a crash in livermore. Im not worried about it and i am tracking it. No worries right now. San jose a little slowing tracking a build for hayward as well. Over here through the Livermore Valley out of the altamonte things are moving smoothly. Right after livermore avenue we do have a crash that was there. Looks like everything is off to the shoulder but i still see some slowing there.
