JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - With power lines down across the road, Jonesboro officials say motorists should expect âmajor traffic delays.â
Just after 7 a.m. Friday, E911 Director Jeff Presley reported a pickup truck had crashed into a power pole in the 1300-block of Greensboro Road.
He said that lines were down, and the City Water and Light crews had been dispatched.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The fire marshal wants to know what caused a vacant home to go up in flames.
Jeff Presley, E911 director, reported the fire around 6:15 a.m. Friday, April 30, in the 3900-block of South Caraway near Glenn Place.
When crews arrived they reported seeing heavy smoke and flames coming from the single-story home.

Police shut down the roadway to allow crews to tackle the “working house fire.”
By 6:45 a.m., officers had opened one lane of Caraway Road between The Links and Glenn Place but urged motorists to avoid the area.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A crash blocked E. Johnson Avenue and N. Bridge Street in Jonesboro Tuesday afternoon.
According to Jonesboro E-911 Director Jeff Presley, injuries were reported with the crash involving a semi-truck and pick-up.
