JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Police shut down a Jonesboro street as firefighters knocked down an apartment fire.
The fire started around 8 a.m. Monday, April 19, in the 1400-block of West Huntington, according to E911 Director Jeff Presley. When crews arrived, they found “heavy smoke showing” from the buildings.
Police blocked the roadway while crews worked to put out the flames.
According to fire officials on the scene, the apartments are abandoned and no one was hurt.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Jonesboro police are responding to multiple crashes, including one involving a vehicle hitting a pedestrian.

The roadway is blocked, and an ambulance has been called to the scene.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Multiple traffic signals are out of service following an issue with a transformer.
E911 Director Jeff Presley reported the outages along Caraway Road shortly after 10 a.m. Monday, April 5.
He said a “transformer issue” in the area of Caraway Road and Highland Drive left several traffic lights out of service.
