The National Flag is a horizontal tricolor of deep saffron (kesaria) at the top, white in the middle, and dark green at the bottom in equal proportion.
The Central government is encouraging citizens to hoist and display the National Flag in their houses between August 13 and August 15 as a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
The Flag Code of India, 2002 has been further amended through an order on July, 20, 2022 and clause (xi) of paragraph 2.2 of Part-II of the Flag Code of India, 2002 shall now be read as under:- (xi)
