Helicopters have many capabilities, able to do a survey with radiological detection equipment. Many areas not seeing much at all. Leesburg is quiet. Fredericksburg is quiet. Montgomery county, not much going on at the moment, but some showers south of prince gorges, and a lot of light showers from Charles County to prince georges. Western maryland, west of hancock, thats lifted to pennsylvania. Were going to see this on and off shower activity overnight and during the day on saturday. Heres future cast tomorrow, 6 00 a. M. , some showers around. You notice its not a solid wall of green or yellow. But the problem is, as we go throughout the day, look what happens. By 2 00, weve got heavier showers, maybe thunderstorms. 4 30, you got the cookout planned. That could be a problem. Focus can now go back to security and enjoying a safe holiday, which is what we saw during the parade today. Reporter cheers from the crowd came as the National Independence day parade and old glory made her way down constitution avenue. Hundreds of people not letting the rains rain jackets and umbrellas.
