Reporter when that boy arrived here late tuesday night in grave condition, the result police say of a brutal beating received at the hand of his mothers boyfriend, all of it over a piece of cake. With his mother at work on tuesday, the boy was left at this apartment in the care of his uncle and his mothers boyfriend robert leroy wilson. According to court documents, when wilson caught the boy stealing cake, he cuffed his hands and beat the defenseless child until he was unresponsive and stiff. The boys uncle took the cuffs off and called 911. To have a 9yearold in the condition hes in now because an adult literally beat him into that condition is traumatic.
