Councilmans condition roiight now . Reporter the last update we got is that the councilman at large david oh is inside. He was undergoing surgery. He is expected to recover, but when he was first brought here to the hospital, he was listed in Critical Condition after you said hefts stabbed outside his home last night. The philadelphia councilman at large has grown up on the same block in west philadelphia. Since the 60s, its where he grew up. It was on that block the 5800 block of thomas avenue he was attacked by an attempted robber. The councilman had just gotten home from work. It was close to 10 00 p. M. He was getting bags out of his trunk when a man walked up and said something. Now the councilman could not ubs what the man said so he engaged him further and then this happened. He has not been identified. Fire officials are calling this a case of hoarding. Heres what theyre telling us. They say the hoarding made it difficult for them to fight the fire. Were gathering more information right now and well get the latest coming up at 6 30. Also breaking, shots are fired, dozens as Philadelphia Police chase down two suspected car jackers. This is the scene in the 1800 block of east clementine street in east kensington. Some of the firefighters and police are still working here at the scene at the moment, but the fire started at 10 40 last night with heavy flames initially on the first floor of this home. Firefighters found a man dead on the second floor. Now before they got here, another man jumped out of a secondfloor window. He is at temple hospital right now in stable condition.
