Laura Ingraham shines a spotlight on everyday Americans and examines how their lives are affected by politics at the federal, state and local level. Professional Intelligence Officer rather than saying this on msnbc or writing it in the press, he mightve gone straight to the Special Counsel and explained what his concerns were. But the problem is that its not just our own citizens who are listening john brennan, there are foreign governments and spies feelings stealing secrets on our behalf who are going to believe that john brennan and something that we dont earn their trust in our government is going to be degraded, our National Security will be impacted negatively. The second point i would make quickly is that those who signed this letter might question whether they want to be tethered to john brennan, who is really the weak link in this chain here. Hes not a credible witness. I think that those who are concerned about a Security Clearance issue and maybe feel like the cia, who held
For the principle purpose of influencing the election. President trump today is claiming that those Campaign Violations are, quote, not a crime. Thats not what the Justice Department said and same president named as individual one in the plea deal. You can believe individual one who is implicated in the crimes. The president. Who does have a long and storied history of saying thing that is arent true. Or you can believe Career Prosecutors at the Justice Department, two federal judges and a jury of Paul Manaforts peers but you have to pick one or the other. Another falsehood of the president saying that he did not learn of the Hush Money Payments until after theyd been made. Despite the fact, of course, that Michael Cohen recently released an Audio Recording of September 2016 in which donald trump can be clearly heard discussing a potential payment to playboy model Karen Mcdougall and President Trump verified that Tape Tweeting at the time, what kind of a lawyer would tape

That is going to say, no, the president doesnt have the authority to take away somebody Security Clearance . They act like there is some sort of property right to keep a Security Clearance for post government work. There is no such thing. What he is doing is irresponsible and selfish because he is identified with the Intelligence Community. I was a member of that. It makes all of us looks like a bunch of partisan hacks when he goes off in every direction spewing all this vitriol, it really reflects poorly on the Intelligence Community. People sit back and say, well, now we know what he was thinking when he was head of the cia. It doesnt reflect well. Jason i think it does undercut the credibility of an agency that prides itself on being a nonpartisan and apolitical. Newt gingrich was on Fox And Friends this morning. Lets listen to his Poin
Generations yet unborn, we have got to guard this moment. This is our watch. And again, i am soso very proud of the Judiciary Committee, i am so very, very proud of the Intelligence Committee because they went in and tried to pull out the facts so that they could paint the picture so that america could see it. And hopefully, they will not be ladies like the lady at amashs town hall meeting who said they didnt know that there was something wrong that trump did with regard in this Mueller Report. And so again, we, the speaker is absolutely right. She told us a little bit earlier that she wants to gather all the information and make sure that we have everything we need to paint that picture. Now, what the American People do with it, thats another thing. But we will not stand by and
fail to give them, let them see the total picture. I too thank mr. Mueller for coming forward for his service to our country. Last but not least, it is so interesting that when mueller would make a decision tha
inquiry. that s one way to go, i suppose. i suppose. although there s also another avenue, and tonight the house took a vote in which they allowed committee subpoenas to become actual subpoenas of the full house, which gives them more force in the courts of law because the trump administration had been pushing back saying these are merely committee subpoenas. so i think the democrats are going to get more aggressive on oversight. i just don t know that i see them getting more aggressive on impeachment. all right. with that, our thanks tonight after a long day to frank figliuzzi, to joyce vance, jeremy bash, josh gerstein. really appreciate it, gang, very much. coming up, we will talk with a democrat from california who got mueller to deny one of the president s regular complaints about the russia investigation. and later, republicans were claiming vindication before the hearings ended.
