This water main break on roosevelt shut down all lanes yesterday and all but one lane is open this morning. Jesse gary is live with more on the status of the work there. Reporter tracy, crews will return later this morning to try to finish the job of replacing a section of the 16inch pipe that failed. That break in the transmission main made a watery muddy mess for commuters yesterday. All lanes of the boulevard at bluegrass road were closed due to flooding and debris on the roadway. The only vehicles out for most of the morning were frontend loaders and street sweepers clearing the mess. The Water Department Officials Say seasonal temperatures lead to this type of problem. This time of year the Water Department sees the highest number of water main breaks. The cold temperatures are usually the culprit. Reporter this break is not impacting commercial or residential crews or customers. Crews hope to finish repairs later today. Coming up later today, they have to do more lane closures. R
