Covid-19: Telangana Congress launches free of cost ambulance service ANI | Updated: May 24, 2021 05:07 IST
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], May 24 (ANI): The TelanganaCongress on Sunday launched a free ambulance service from Gandhi Bhawan in Hyderabad for the benefit of the poor and needy during the Covid-19 pandemic.
A total of three ambulances have been put into service from Gandhi Bhawan.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president, Uttam Kumar speaking to ANI said, To serve the people and families that have been affected due to Corona, ambulance service has been inaugurated today wherein 3 ambulances have been put into service to help Covid-affected people and their family members reach hospitals in time or from hospital to reach home.

Three day workshop on capacity building on disaster risk reduction for a safer society in Jammu and Kashmir was organised by Department of Geography and Disaster Management, University of Kashmir at Gandhi Bhawan, University of Kashmir from 15th to 17th March, 2021.
On the first day, the basics of Disaster Management were discussed by the eminent speakers including Dr Amir A. Khan Professor from NIDM New Delhi and experts, scholars and students of Disaster Management.
The second day of the training program started with a welcome address by Dr. M. Shafi, Associate Professor.
Er. Aamir Ali, Director Disaster Management and Nodal Officer Officer JKSEOC was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
