We do see thunder and lightning sometimes in august and september and october on the subtropical moisture moves north but the system, unusual in its aerial coverage. It covered all bay area counties, and lasted a long time. I backed the radar and imagery all the way back up to 2 am this morning. Watch what happens. Look at these Lightning Strikes. I have seen a wave come through like this in the bear area. We all have once every 2 to 3 years. Is going off at the 56 and look what comes right behind it.
