It expects to be proposed by two San Mateo County supervisors. The supervisors want to find violators 100. They can be fined up to 500 for repeat offenses. They will also find businesses beginning at 250, up to 3000 depending on the violation. If someone is absolutely reluctant, and they dont want to do it, they deserve to be signed. This would be a civil violation, meaning county employees could issue fines instead of police officers. In piedmont, Public Health officials are trying to push orders. The city is already closed because group sports were still being played despite repeated warnings by city staff. The police chief has issued several fines along with permanent fines. It is unusual, but occurring instances where someone, despite the fact they had been warned and educated, still continued to not want to adhere to the safety precautions. They said the police will issue criminal fines while City Employees can issue civil fines. It is only 47 contained. It started last friday. It forced evacuations northwest of palm springs. Evacuees are being screened at shelters for covid19. Some are being redirected to hotels. At least one home was destroyed by the fire. Hundreds more are in danger. People who evacuated in Colusa County because of a big wildfire are allowed to go back home. The mandatory evacuations from the sites fire are now lifted. However, evacuees are being warned to evacuate again if necessary.
