Innocent bystander was killed as a result of this shootout. The police scene now stretching for blocks here on 198th street, evidence markers show the bullet casings left over from this shootout early this morning. Sources say the commotion started out in the street and then spread inside the store. They say that someone flagged two Police Officers down who went into the store and they were approached by a 30year old suspect who grabbed one of the officers guns and began firing. A second officer responding back with shots, and thats once in the torso and that innocent bystander was shot and killed. Now, witnesses say they saw the bystander being taken out of the deli. They say he is a 49yearold man, a store employee, well known in the neighborhood who was just cleaning the shop at the time. I was upstairs in my apartment, and i just kept on hearing a whole bunch of shots. It actually didnt even sound like shots, so, you know, after about five or six of them went rounds went off. Fright

Reporter hi chris and mary, most of the samples were actually taken from water sources from sinks and polices where you would wash your hands these test results showed that some of the Drinking Water sources, some of the water fountains at this Charter School came back with lead levels ten times above the acceptable limits. The testing took 324 water samples, a sample from every single water source in all eight nontraditional facilities within the Newark Public School district for this phase of testing. A quarter of those samples came back with elevated levels of led. 16 of them were from Drinking Water sources, 10 of those Drinking Water sources were the newark legacy Charter School.
