And for the second time in a week its happened at a military base. Its the Naval Air Station in pennsylvania. Pete williams has the latest. Lets get right to him. Authorities at the air station say four people are now confirmed dead including the shooter. And is he people are being treated at a local hospital. This is a live look at a News Conference underway right now in florida. The newsroom is listening for new information and will get it to you as we get it. This started this morning when the gunman opened fire at the naval base. Local deputies got into a shootot and you killed the gunman. Currently the Naval Air Station is on lockdown and has been evacuated. This is the second mass shooting on a naval base this week. The first happened earlier this week at a navy station in pearl harbor. Two people were killed and the shooter took his own life. Wow. Investigators in detroit are looking into what sparked a massive home explosion in a residential neighborhood. The blast was so powerful it even damaged nearby homes. Heres abcs alex perez. Reporter investigators in detroit on the scene of this massive blast. Theres a dwelling that possibly exploded from a gas leak. Reporter the home exploding at about 1 30. Its like, boom then flames start flying up in the air. Reporter two houses next door damaged. It was loud enough to shake the whole block. Reporter there have been a string of recent natural gas explosions rocking residential areas. In kentucky last week, this blast rocketing flames 300 feet in the air, killing one person. And in North Carolina last month, one woman was killed in this explosion. Her husband, who was trapped in the wreckage, rescued after using his apple watch to call 911. Back in detroit officials combing through the wreckage say luckily it appears no one was killed. And investigators are now working to figure
