A former miner who lived on the same road for 101 years has died of coronavirus months after his whole street turned out to sing him Happy Birthday.
Harold Reed passed away on Christmas Eve after battling the virus in a care home in Dover, Kent.
He had lived on Dickson Road in the Tower Hamlets area of the town his whole life before moving to the facility in May.
Mr Reed made headlines when a video emerged of him being sung Happy Birthday by his neighbours while he was shielding in April.

A man who lived in the same street for more than a century has died.
Harold Reed, of Dover, passed away due to coronavirus on Christmas Eve aged 101.

He had lived in Dickson Road in Tower Hamlets all his life until he had to move to a care home in May.
Mr Reed made the headlines when his neighbours, having to keep socially distanced, came out onto his street and sang Happy Birthday to him in April.
