New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday registered victory in four wards in Municipal Corporation of Delhi bye-elections. The bypolls were held in five wards on February 28 in which over 50 per cent votes were cast.
The bypoll election results that have come today must have rung alarm bells for the Bharatiya Janata Party as in the 2017 MCD polls, the BJP had retained all three corporations with the AAP finishing a distant second.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday (March 3, 2021) spoke on Aam Aadmi Party s (AAP) victory in the municipal polls and said that the people now want good in MCD too.
Following AAP s win in four out of five municipal wards, Arvind Kejriwal said, People were so upset with BJP s 15-year work in MCD that they gave them 0 (seats). MCD has only spread trash in Delhi, so corrupt that people call it Most Corrupt Department . By voting AAP, people now want good work in MCD too.
Delhi CM also said that AAP s victory shows that people are happy with their work.
