The fourth wave of COVD-19 is extremely dangerous, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday (April 11) as the national capital reported 10,732 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.
As the number of cases have increased rapidly in the last 10 to 15 days, the Delhi government on Saturday (April 10) imposed fresh restrictions to curb the spread of COVID-19. Earlier this week, the government had also imposed a night curfew in Delhi from 10 pm to 5 am till April 30.
Delhi recorded 3,548 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Monday, while 15 more people succumbed to the infection, taking the death toll to 11,096. With a spike in cases, Delhi s case positivity rate has also risen to 5.54 per cent
