According to the state health department, UP registered 18,021 fresh coronavirus cases and 85 new deaths in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases in the state now stands at 7.23 lakh while the death toll has mounted to 9,309. As many as 3,474 people were discharged in this period, reducing the active cases in Uttar Pradesh to 95,980.
