Im kate larson in for eric thomas. Rescue crews were able to save a child and two adults who went overboard when their boat capsized. All three are now at stanford hospital, and thats where abc 7 News Reporter Lonnie Riviera is live tonight with the story youll only see on abc 7. Lonnie. Reporter yes, kate. Were hearing that they launched the boat from fremont. Were also hearing it was two adults and one child. All of them brought here, treated for hypothermia. Theyre going to be okay, were hearing, but theyre being checked out for any further injuries. A coast guard chopper lifted one boater who was stranded in the choppy, chilly bay water near Cooley Landing in East Palo Alto. Once it landed, one victim gave officials a thumbs up. Carolyn . Lisa, thank you. Breaking news in the south bay this morning. Firefighters in san jose are investigating what caused this car fire on sierra road. It broke out around 4 00 this morning. Firefighters say flames quickly spread from the car to the brush on the side of the road. Two acres burned before crews got the fire under control. Firefighters say they dont know who left the car there. Firefighters in Contra Costa County have put out a threealarm fire in bay point. This is new video of that fire. You can see heavy smoke and flames rising from two homes on north street. Crews were called around 10 30 last night. They said they had the fire under con
