You probably heard about the heat advisory and red flag warning and despite that it is a beautiful start to the morning with temperatures on the comfortable side, nice and sunny out there, and check out our tower camera. 75 yesterday in San Francisco. Wow couldnt be better, right . Its still above average. About seven degrees above average and today were looking at excessive heat once again and lets check out the hour by hour temperature in concord and its in the upper 60s and by 8 00 in the 70s and by 10 00 youre in the 80s and look what happens. Once again its well over 100 degrees. Prepare for that. One more day, we get into ten degrees of cooling tomorrow and as we look at mount tam, youll notice the breeze. This is the breezeiest spot around the bay area with winds out of the north up to 30 miles an hour. So, of course, not good when things are so, so dry out there. Live doppler 7 reflecting the lack of cloud cover here. So be very careful out there. It is so dry and were looking at temperatures today climbing quickly without any clouds and then yesterday afternoon we had those clouds. Today we wont. So were going to be even warmer today. 58 in San Francisco and oaklands at 60 and Mountain View, and 67 in san jose and 50 at the coast and gilroy is at 60. The big dome of High Pressure thats keeping us warm begins to move away from the bay area today and well get a sea breeze and it will be warm, near 80 in santa rosa. 70s Half Moon Bay. 68 in concord and livermore looking at 66 degree. So near 80 in santa cruz yesterday and again today. A Beautiful Day if you can get there to enjoy the weather, otherwise, its going to be a little oppressive out there with a highfire danger and the heat advisory and this is all certainly for above 1,000 feet and the entire bay area feeling the effects of all of that warmth. And so the triple digits with us in the north bay, clear lake, santa rosa and even into the south bay, we are well into the 90s and san jose, you know how warm it can get there as much as 10 degrees warmer and the city of san jose. So it will be a scorcher today, but look what happens tomorrow. Were already getting into some cooling and this looks more typical with 70s around the bay. Look at how the onshore flow spreads and we have the green into the bay here.
