Im kate larson in for eric thomas. Rescue crews were able to save a child and two adults who went overboard when their boat capsized. Were hearing that they launched the boat from fremont. Were also hearing it was two adults and one child. All of them brought here, treated for hypothermia. Theyre going to be okay, were hearing, but theyre being checked out for any further injuries. A coast guard chopper lifted one boater who was stranded in the choppy, chilly bay water near Cooley Landing in East Palo Alto. Once it landed, one victim gave officials a thumbs up.
