And San Francisco there are two separate shootings that have left two dead and three others injured. Two teenagers admitted to starting a fire in San Francisco and how they were caught red handed. Good morning on this friday, november 17. I am emily turner. I am devin fehely. There is a double homicide in san jose with two killed and three shot but their injuries were not lifethreatening. This was on south capitol avenue near the Nuevo Vallarta restaurant. Several surrounding streets are expected to be closed for a few hours. Shortly before 4 00 a man was a leash avenue where a man was fatally stabbed at coyote road and later died at the hospital from his injuries. Californias numbers have been fairly steady the past several weeks and thats helping us build a better bay area. Nearly 3300 cases were reported with Southern California remaining the hardist hit region. The twoweek average is about 3200. There were another 22 deaths, which pushes californias total close to 17,000. More than 3100 people are hospitalized around the state with coronavirus. But there is very good news locally. San francisco is the first county in the bay area to move to the yellow covid19 safety tier. Thats the least restrictive tier that allows more businesses to expand and increase capacity indoors.
