Police taking part as racial tensions continue to simmer. Reporter they laid out a National Reform plan they say they believe could really make a difference and it begins with several concrete steps. The three Police Unions took out ads saying there are no words to convey our disgust and sorrow over the murder of george floyd adding they have an obligation to take action. They are calling for a national use of force standard focusing on des esqescalation and to ide officers that might need more training. This comes after the death of george floyd at the hands of police and calls to defund them. We are serious about talking on a National Level about National Reform. Not just in the city of san jose. A national use of force policy. A National Database in regards to officers. They cant reenter the system if there was gross misconduct in the firing. The unions have always been so resistant to change and they have what they have. They want to keep what they have. They are critical of those
