Firefighters still on the scene here but when they went and side here at around 7 46 tonight, to fight this fire, after they knock it down they made a discovery of, yes, an alligator, 18 to 24inches long, a pet alligator, inside a fish tank inside the fire scene. Now, they called animal care and control team to the scene here. They arrived about an hour ago. Went inside with the fire marshal and removed the alligator to take it to safekeeping. It was unharmed from what we were told by the acct that was here investigators are still looking into this fire at this hour.
