Now, the property at 1215, 29th avenue is developed a Single Family home. Its quite long and dense and it only provide an overview and be available for any questions. The first enforcement action regarding units on this property was a d. B. I. Complaint from the ground floor in 1999. That enforcement process moved slowly. There were other compliments filed over several years. The Property Owner filed a new Building Permit in 2014, nine years later to remove the unit. That permit was issued but never completed. Theres no evidence or documentation that the two illegal units were actually removed. Planning Department Engagement began in 2018 when the complaint was filed. The department obtained documents from 2011 and 2014 that clearly described two illegal units out ground floor, which at that time that the Property Owner did not dispute they were working with d. B. City college is in very dire straights. The board of trustees and administration have made massive class cuts including the almost complete disruption of the older adults program. Three hundred classes cut last fall. Five hundred in the year before. This year, huge cuts in the esl program. Campuses are closing. Now theres to be another cut to existing use and potential growth including Affordable Housing and other uses by city college. We urge you to consider that many of the staff and teachers of city college are opposed to this as well. I would lake to bring your attention to two letters that were recently sent to the committee. I dont know the definitive answer. I think n that yes, you are correct. We need to check that and get back to you. Right, my concern is, given everything we know in the short term, i would hate for San Mateo County to act because of that imperative. And then i guess the question is, is it possible, i guess you cant really pass we vote to pass both. That sounds bizarre. Not to say that you want to change your vote and but it there a way for the City Attorney to pass both measures .
