SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Seminoles.com) – The Florida State Men’s Golf Team sits in 11th place through the second round of the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship held at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The Seminoles look to close in on the Top 15 cutline following Sunday’s third stroke-play round. FSU tees off at 10:27 a.m. ET/7:27 a.m. PT.
“From a results standpoint, it definitely wasn’t the round we were looking for,” FSU Head Coach Trey Jones said. “This is a golf team that has only shot somewhere around four over-par rounds for the year, and to go out and have all five players struggle on the same day was tough on them.”

FSU moved five spots down the leaderboard on Saturday, with none of its five golfers finishing
FINAL RESULTS TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – The top-ranked Florida State men's golf team capped off a spectacular week of play with a combined score of 34-under (271-281-278) to win their first NCAA Regional in program history at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club on Wednesday. The Seminoles will move on to play in their first NCAA Championship since 2017 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. Georgia Tech (-16), Liberty (-15), and TCU (-9) rounded out the top five teams that will be advancing to the NCAA Championship next week. Graduate transfer Vincent Norrman had a stellar performance in the third round with a score of 3-under 69 to finish the tournament at 9-under (68-70-69). The low five teams in the NCAA Regional, as well as the top qualifying individual from a non-advancing team, will advance to the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship held May 28-June 2 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State senior men’s golfer John Pak has added yet another accolade to his accomplished career. The nation’s top-ranked collegiate golfer has been selected as the ACC Player of the Year, announced on Monday.
Pak becomes the fourth Seminole to earn ACC Player of the Year honors, joining Bobby Cochran (1994), Brooks Koepka (2010 and 2012) and Hank Lebioda (2016). He also joins PGA TOUR professionals Koepka and Lebioda as Seminoles whom have earned ACC Freshman and Player of the Year honors in their careers.
ATLANTA, Ga. (Seminoles.com) – The No. 2-ranked Florida State Men’s Golf team goes for its second ACC Championship title on Monday. The Seminoles clinched a spot in the match play championship after defeating No. 17 North Carolina, 4-1, in Sunday’s match play semifinals at the Capital City Club in Atlanta.
Florida State seeks its first ACC Championship title since 2008 and its second in program history on Monday when it faces 10th-ranked Clemson at 9 a.m. on ACC Network Extra.

“It was a very long day today with another 7:30 start, and it was a struggle in the stroke play portion to get to match play,” FSU Head Coach Trey Jones said. “That was our goal, to get there. I’m really proud of our guys for getting us the opportunity and playing all the way to the end and getting to match. In this league it’s something to be proud of to be one of the final four teams.
