Michael Panzica and Brad Nosan want to add 12 or 13 units inside the Baricelli Inn building at Cornell Road and Murray Hill. It was last home to the Washington Place Bistro & Inn, which closed in May.

None of the commissioners present expressed opposition to the project concept during a presentation by the designers for Bridgeworks at West 25th Street and Detroit Avenue. In fact, one commissioner, Bob Strickland, said he thought it was a “wonderful project.” Rather, Chair Julie Trott said she felt that the size of one of the proposed buildings felt too large compared to what is already there.
