Right now, frustrated Truck Drivers plan to protest at the port of oakland over conditions they say effect their health and livelihood. Kron s will tran is live at the port to explain. They are upset because they claim that they have to wait 67 hours to pick up their cargo and leave the area. They stated that they wait a lot of time and that the time that this ben here theyre not making money. I learned that they plan to go on strike for the next seven days. They do not plan to pick up any cargo at the port of oakland. Some of the Truck Drivers were caught off guard and many of the protesters stood in front of the Truck Drivers and that would not allow them to step in. The police is now patrolling the area. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harold LeRoy Carlson. Harold (Harry, Big Harold, Pops) passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, at the age of 88. He was born in Ceylon, Minnesota, to Ethel and Clarence Carlson on January 24th, 1936, in the midst of a blizzard. While in labor with Harold, his mother had to take a sleigh ride 2 1/2 miles to reach a car for another 9-mile trip to the hospital. She said it was all worth it.
Carlson was born April 23, 1924 in the Longmont area, and he worked on his family farm before and after serving in the army at the end of World War II. The party was held by Carlson’s four daughters, Linda, Cheryl, Marcia and Janet, and 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
