San Leandro Police arrested a woman seen on video posting racist letters in a neighborhood. The letters were hand written and put on poles outside of five different homes in the heron bay neighborhood. All the victims appear to be of asian descent. The letter quotes the constitution and says if you were born in another country, return and go back to your land immediately and fast with urgency. One victim talked to us and says he thinks the pande
California say the race and ethnicity of those they get the virus is roughly in line with the diversity of the state. In Santa Clara County there are 55 new cases with three more deaths, bringing the death toll 254. For the first time in history, all 50 states are under federal disaster declaration. The economy could have a rolling reentry as early as next month, as said by dr. Anthony fauci. Fauci to a gradual process will be required based on the status of the pandemic in parts of the country. 2600 deaths happened due to outbreaks in Nursing Homes and longterm care facilities. Nine of those were at the facility in hayward. There have been 450 deaths in Nursing Homes. The death toll is likely much higher among the 1 million frail and a elderly people that live in those facilities. Most do not include those who died without ever being tested for the 19. The u. S. The noise, the windows popping. Reporter eric jackson drove down the street at the right time. As he passed by he saw flames. He pued over as the homeowner was trying to put out the fire himself. He said the man has lived her for years. He was running in and out of his home looking for his wife. The victims son tells us he didnt realize his wife had walked onto the first floor roof and was looking for a way to jump down. So he ran to the side of the house to get a hose and came back in. She is outside yelling his name the whole time. He didnt know so he went what any husband should do. He went in there to try to find her. He didnt make it out. Reporter the victims son who you just heard from says his fiveyearold niece lives at this house and she would have been here last night during the fire but
