All lanes are closed in the westbound direction from atherton avenue to highway 101. One of two eastound lanes is open in that area. Caltrans is working to prevent futher flooding on that stretch of roadway. No word yet on when highway 37 will reopen. And likely not soon. Thursday is another strong storm. Weather alert issued. As the Rainy Weather continues, the Small Community of guerneville is bracing for more flooding. Last month. Much of the town was submerged after fierce storms pounded the area. Tonight. The Russian River is once again dangerously close to topping its banks.
