Reporter and one of the reasons why they have triggered tonights surge in Police Officers is because they spotted social media posts advertising a large sideshow here in oakland this evening. Now, police say those illegal events can be very dangerous. In the last two weeks sideshows in san jose and oakland, the event have turned violent. Two weekends ago a Police Officer was hit by a car as he was trying to write a citation. Officers will not share where theyre going to be tonight because they dont want to give away a tactical advantage, but they are getting the word out in advance on purpose in hopes that some people wont show up tonight.
