Redell, today in the bay. One of many open today. Its nice to hear people being so open to tell their stories. Its bad. They dont know if they have a home to go back to. Their homes, memories, going up in flames. Some people dont know. Exactly. So, those Evacuation Centers we told you about, theres four of them, now five that had to expand. The thing is, the red cross, they are being stretched thin as well. Now, they need volunteers to help. They have exhausted their pool so far. They need to help the fire evacuees at Elsie Allen High School and cook middle school. If you can safely make it to either location, call 7075434542 and you will be given an assignment. We are going to hear the call for volunteers in the coming days. We are going into the today show hour. We are going to stay here with your local news this morning to continue to give you more information about these fire that is are burning out of control at this point. We have a different pattern compared to yesterday at this time when we had offshore wind. Things have calmed down considerably for many. It will be a quieter and cooler day. Highs in the 70s and 80s. Soon coming even that red flag warning around the north bay hills will be expiring. A lot quieter today, thank goodness coming and we will see higher humidity as well which will help the firefighters. Good morning. Right now we are looking at the area of the fires. We see that traffic from santa rosa to petaluma and novato is doing well. Highway 37 is open. We do have fire closures in the areas of where the actual fire is. It looks like highway 101 has reopened. There are closures on highway 128 and areas of napa or the Silverado Country Club. For the most part, the major freeways are doing okay. If you were on the mountain altamont pass, 580 and 205 are off to a decent start. This is a look at highway 101 in san rafael. It looks good driving two 580. No major problems on the east shore fr

Nothing compared to what we saw last week; thats for sure. A few high clouds. It will be warmer today. High pressure, winds out today, and most of tomorrow. Could be a few, though,s near 90 degrees. Rain looks like it returns late thursday. Give me time to update this. There will be okay amounts to the north. Santa rosa, calustoga, lake county into mendocino county. Not a lot, but quarter to half an inch. Far more up in humbold county. Thats going be the main focus. Wont be until about 4 days. Winds are out of the north. Not that strong, but still offshore. Same could be said for atlas peak, 18 . Other locations have humidity in 50, 60 . It is a bit of a northerly breeze.
