It looks like highway 101 has reopened. There are closures on highway 128 and areas of napa or the Silverado Country Club. For the most part, the major freeways are doing okay. If you were on the mountain altamont pass, 580 and 205 are off to a decent start. This is a look at highway 101 in san rafael. It looks good driving two 580. No major problems on the east shore freeway heading to the bay bridge toll plaza. We have breaking news about an amber alert for a missing sixyearold girl reportedly kidnapped yesterday in san leandro. Allegedly by her mother who does not have custody. Police say malayia davisbooker was abducted yesterday in san leandro by her mother. Her name is laquita davis. Police are describing davis as homeless and acting with diminished capacity. Authorities say davis abducted malayia several times before including three months ago in berkeley when the sixyearold was with her grandparents. Both were tracked down the next day by pittsburg police. Malayia is described as African American with brown hair, brown eyes three 8th waiting 50 pounds. She was last seen wearing a long sleeve navy blue and red dress with white leggings. Laquita davis as African American with brown hair, brown eyes, 5 7, 170 pounds. The confirmed death toll remains at 11 with the seven victims in Sonoma County, 2 and napa county and one in yuba and mendocino countys. Cal fire said 1500 buildings have burned including homes and at least two schools and several wineries. Sonoma county Officials Say theyve received reports of more than 100 missing people but added many of those people may not have been able to get in touch with relatives or friends because of problems with Cell Phone Service and power outages. The fire and napa county has burned 27,000 acres. The atlas fire has burned 25,000 acres. The fire in Sonoma County has burned 5000 acres. There is no containment on any of the fires. There were more evacuations overnight. We want to show you the size of the areas that are being and have been evacuated. The Sonoma County fired spread to a northwest section of santa rosa. The two areas highlighted in red are the evacuation zones. One covers a portion of highway 101 and the fountaingrove parkway. The other zone is along state route 12. Mandatory evacuations were issued in several areas of west Solano County. The Sheriffs Office posted this map on its facebook page. The evacuation zone is highlighted in yellow near the napa county line. On the Facebook Post the Solano County sheriffs wrote there is mandatory evacuation orders and this means we evacuate now. In santa rosa, curfew has been imposed in the mandatory evacuation zones of santa rosa starting last night at 6 45 pm and continues until sunrise. The evacuation zone is wider than the burned area some many homes are sitting empty. The curfew was imposed to prevent looting by people driving through the evacuation zone. So far there are no confirmed reports of arrests. Officials in santa rosa say they did all they could to prevent the flames from spreading but the strength of the fire was overpowering. People across the bay area were not in the fire zone are seeing the flames and want to help. The red cross said the best way to help fire victims is with a cash donation. Go online to donate or call one 800 red cross or text the words, red cross 290999 to make a 10 donation. Catholic charities, goodwell and the Salvation Army were also accepting cash donations that will pay for food, shelter and medical care for fire victims who have been forced from their homes. One has forced thousands to evacuate from homes in the Anaheim Hills area. 24 buildings have burned including homes and thousands of other homes are threatened. Cal fire said 4500 acres of burned and that fire is 5 contained. At least one death is reported in mendocino county, blamed on a wildfires still burning this morning. The Sheriffs Department said two people were hurt. The fire is about 10 miles north of the city of ukiah and has burned 19,000 acres. Officials estimate at least 75 homes have been destroyed. Almost the entire Redwood Valley is under mandatory evacuations. Evacuated animals are being taken to the ukiah fair grounds. Its hard. Its hard to live through these incidents and its hard to see people struggling themselves to get through it. And being here and making sure we have what people need. A student at texas tech has been arrested for shooting and killing a Campus Police officer after Police Found Drugs in his room. Hollis daniels was taken to the University Police station for questioning where he pulled out a gun, shot the officer and ran off. The school was on lockdown for two hours until police found him.
