Smiths death sparked riots in the sherman park neighborhood. And that Milwaukee Police officer who shot smith will go to trial on separate Sexual Assault charges dominique heagganbrown waived his preliminary hearing yesterday. He has not been charged in the Sylville Smith case. Prosecutors say he sexually assau shooting in august. According to the criminal complaint there are three other victims. Smiths family members say the Sexual Assault case should be tied to his use of deadly force. Haegganbrowns arraignment is scheduled for november 4. The District Attorney is still reviewing the Sylville Smith case. The body camera footage has not been released. There is no timeline for a charging decision. Matter says it was not fine when baker told him another woman behind the bar kept asking questions and made some disparaging remarks. The female bartender was saying well we have to water your drinks down because obviously youre disabled so you cant have a full drink. Matter posted about the incident online and by wednesday night, the bar posted a response on its Facebook Page saying the bartender only asked about the dog and that it was another patron who was rude. Another commenter says he was there and witnessed the bartender treati hostile tone after she explained it was a service dog. Matter says baker doesnt deserve special treatment, just decency. This isnt a veteran thing; this is a human rights thing. The owner of the bar declined to be interviewed today, but she maintains it was a customer who was causing the problems, not the staff.
