In the letter, dated February 13, it has been highlighted that BSNL customers are porting out in massive numbers due to non-availability of 4G services. “The ground reality is that, both Reliance Jio and Airtel, armed with the state-of-the-art 5G technology, have started poaching BSNL’s customers,” the letter said.
BSNL: This network integration will be complemented by HFCL’s 5GHz Unlicensed Band Packet radio systems, along with antennas, cables and other key accessories.
HFCL, a domestic telecom gear company, announced on Tuesday that it has secured an order worth Rs 179 crore from BSNL to supply 4G and 5G network equipment. Out of this, Rs 141 crore is for capital expenditure and annual maintenance contract. The company will provide products and services crucial for supporting BSNL s 4G and 5G network requirements, including planning, surveys, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of microwave links.
