STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. “Yes, They’re Open” is a web series highlighting local bars and restaurants that are open for takeout, delivery, pickup or dining during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Live streams from the featured restaurants are broadcast on the Advance Facebook page every weekday around 3 p.m.
On Thursday, the Advance/SILive.com visited Il Forno Pizzeria at 6382 Amboy Road, which is open for pickup and delivery from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. On Wednesday, the Advance/SILive.com visited Vodega Deli & Grocery at 829 Castleton Ave., which is open for pickup from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
