Vodega offers vegan, plant-based food in West Brighton | Yes, They’re Open

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — “Yes, They’re Open” is a web series highlighting local bars and restaurants that are open for takeout, delivery, pickup or dining during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Live streams from the featured restaurants are broadcast on the Advance Facebook page every weekday around 3 p.m.
On Wednesday, the Advance/SILive.com visited Vodega Deli & Grocery at 829 Castleton Ave., which is open for pickup from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Vodega, which offers vegan and plant-based eats, has introduced plant-based ice cream and is best known for its mac and cheese. For more information, visit vodega.nyc/.
