TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida State track and field athletes Don'drea Swint and Edidiong Odiong were both named ACC Indoor Track Performers of the week by the Atlantic Coast Conference Tuesday afternoon. Both Don'drea and Edidiong ran amazing races last weekend, Head Coach Bob Braman said. Both are in the top four in FSU history in their respective events which is really impressive for a season-opening race. Both athletes had stellar performances this past weekend at the Clemson Invitational. Swint clocked the third-fastest time in FSU history in the 60m dash on Friday with a time of 6.53. Swint's time leads the ACC and is third nationally. Swint's previous top time was 6.63 at the Bob Pollock Invitational last January in Clemson. This is the second time Swint has been named the ACC Indoor Track Performer of the week with his first honor coming on Feb. 3, 2021. Clemson Advances Three to NCAA Finals Friday
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Laurie Barton, Trishauna Hemmings and Terryon Conwell each advanced out of their respective preliminary heats during Friday’s action at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. On Saturday, Barton will be competing in her second career NCAA indoor final, while Hemmings and Conwell will each compete in their first.
“We’re excited to have three athletes advance in three events,” said Clemson’s Director of Track & Field, Mark Elliott. “While we hoped to have had six athletes advance, these are the top 16 athletes in the nation for each event and we’re happy with the three we have moving on.”

At the Orange & Purple Elite on Jan. 9, Terryon Conwell burst onto the scene for the Clemson Tigers by running a school record in the men’s 300 meters. By running 32.97 seconds to break the previous record by .23 and become the first Tiger to go sub-33, Conwell asserted himself as one of the top sprinters in the NCAA.
Conwell rode the momentum from his school-record performance into the Bob Pollock Invitational, Clemson’s fourth meet of the season. Conwell was only slated to contest one individual event at the meet, the 200m, and all indicators on the day pointed towards him recording an NCAA-qualifying time.
