Ktvu is Lamonica Peters joins us now live from san leandro with the latest on the investigation and community reaction. Lamonica. Julie, we still dont have a lot of information about this shooting incident, but california Highway Patrol did tell us that it happened around 215 this afternoon on eastbound on 580 near grand avenue. So thats definitely a big fear when youre driving because people get very angry for no reason when its driving. California Highway Patrol says a shooting was reported around 215 sunday afternoon. A passenger in a vehicle traveling eastbound on 580 was shot by someone in another car. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and their current condition is unknown. Chp has not confirmed a motive for the shooting drivers. We spoke to say theyre more concerned now for their safety on t

Yeah it was at about 1140 this morning a call came in to Concord Police. They then called bart police here in this parking lot, Yellow Police tape was set up where the incident happened. An isolated corner of the second story of the concord, bart parking garage. A bart officer collecting evidence and placing markers in this empty corner. A suspect apparently got away on a county connection bus, but both bart and Concord Police surrounded the bus next to the sun valley mall where a juvenile suspect was taken into custody. No word as if there are other suspect. In addition to collecting evidence, bart reports the reviewing Surveillance Video from security cameras as part of their investigation. His estranged brother discovered the chemicals early this week. There was a pretty strange relationship there. The gentleman hadnt spoken to his brother in over 60 years. I believe his brother passed away about six months ago. Neighbors say elson kept to himself and was a hoarder.
