This historic proposal changes the way the city conducts Traffic Enforcement issues from armed police to an armed city workers now again one major question a lot of people have is how do they plan to enforce this when we reached out to city council were still waiting to hear back. Now again this is an attempt to curb racial profiling and reduce Law Enforcement encounters that can turn deadly, especially for africanamerican drivers. Berkeley City Council Approved the proposal overnight. This is going to create a new arm of the department of transportation that would handle traffic incidents
