Last weekend here it was packed, people eating indoors and outdoors and now Indoor Dining has shut down because were in the purple tier and now the curfew starts this weekend, tomorrow. This is, of course, in response to covid numbers rising throughout the state. The bay area is maintaining a nightlife and the curfew will make it tougher. They will have to adapt. On the weekends we were allowed until 11 00 and we were happy with the extension while we had it. Some type of spread from the nightlife, i believe so. A rally in San Francisco expressed support for a man shot to death by police, as a civil rights lawsuit gets under way. The parents of Alejandro Alex are suing four officers in federal court for wrongful death and excessive force. A jury will decide whether police acted reasonably when they shot and killed the 28 yearold in march of 2014. Officers were responding to a report of a man with a gun acting erratically. Police say they believe their lives were in danger, as alex nieto pointed a gun with a red laser light at them. It turned out to be a taser, one the man used for a job as a security guard. Alex nieto was struck at least 10 times. [ speaking spanish ] very emotional to see all of these people supporting us here and that they know that alex was such a good young man.
