May 6, 2021 Heather M. Potter, 45, of 1250 Norby Rd. Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly at 4:02 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2021, in UPMC Chautauqua. A lifelong area resident, she was born Jan. 17, 1976, in Jamestown, N.Y., the daughter of Brenda Prosser Johnson and Rodney Potter, Jr. Heather was a 1996 graduate of Jamestown High School where she received a standing ovation from her classmates when she received her diploma. She was employed by the Resource Center, working at the Harris Avenue Group Home and had also worked for the Basket Company. Heather was a member of the First Lutheran Church, where she loved reciting the Lord’s prayer. She was also a very proud member of the Benjamin Prescott Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, enjoying many events and functions.
