Sheena, that extreme heat has just been busted by the showers and storms you have been showing but we do have an official heat wave now and its going to continue. The heat advisory, that has been discontinued because the temperature has gone down. This is what it looked like this morning. The temperatures in the 70s to near 80 degrees, but as we go through the day, you can see going up through the 80s and into the 90s. By this afternoon, we were seeing temperatures of 90 degrees and now the rain has really knocked things down. The heat continues, its barely 90 because of the thunderstorms today but it is going to go back up over the next couple of days and the thunderstorms will not be here.
