Nepal PM has accepted the invitation of Liu Jianchao, the leader of the Chinese Communist Party's Foreign Affairs Department, who had made a visit to Kathmandu.
KATHMANDU, June 7: Lawmaker Khim Lal Devkota has demanded downsizing the House of Representatives (HoR) reasoning that it was huge. Putting forth his views during the post-budget deliberation at the National Assembly meeting on Wednesday, lawmaker Devkota pointed out the need of curtailing the size of HoR which has a quota for 275 members.
KATHMANDU, June 1: A woman attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison along with her two sons. While the woman and one of her sons survived, her 18-month infant died during treatment.
