The looting suspect was confronted by vallejo police. The suspect then rammed into an Unmarked Police vehicle. Thats when shots were fired by the officer. The suspect then set off. We believe the Police Officer is okay. Were still trying to confirm all the details with the police department. There was a chase, the suspect was later caught and placed in an ambulance. Its not clear whether his injuries were from the officers gunshots or something else. We have yet to confirm the suspects condition. Law enforcement also chased two looting suspects this morning. The chase exceeded 100 miles per hour. The suspects had broken into a score. Security guards spotted them and alerted police. Vallejo residents say they want the looting to stop and focus on peaceful change. I think its a turning point in u. S. Weekend, its going to be really hot, and were leading in to that heat today. Here is a live look outside in palo alto starting out with some clear skies. We wont see our usual start with the mostly cloudy sky. Were going to start it out clear and see those temperatures heat up. Kari, right when were starting to see the volume build for highway 101 and the rest of the freeways of course but the slowing we typically see is 101 at capitol expressway.
