4:30 pm. he was taking a sharp right from 23rd street onto mission and ended up hitting someone in the crosswalk according to the police. as well as somebody who after that happened tried to get off the bus. according to police the driver came back and hit that person who was getting off the bus. a third person was also heard. we are told two of the three are at san francisco general hospital in critical condition. their injuries are life- threatening as we speak right now. you might be able to see there is a man inside this ambulance. police identified him as the driver. they are checking on his ability to drive. whether he perhaps there was a substance involvement his sobriety is being tested as we speak. a bit of a chaotic scene. three pedestrians hit right here in the middle of mission street right at closing time. there was quite a bit of foot traffic. at one point according to police the driver went to onto the sidewalk. then apparently left the scene and then came back
